Yamaha packed race-proven technology into the VF115XA: a long-track intake system, free-flow exhaust, and a knock sensor that adjusts timing for optimal power on 87-octane fuel. With 35 amps of alternator output, you can run livewells, high-end sonar, and GPS without worry.

Unlike many 115hp engines, the V MAX SHO requires no external oil tank — more storage for tackle and gear. Mechanical controls simplify rigging, and gauge compatibility includes analog, 6Y5 digital, or Command Link. Available with 20” or 25” shaft.
